What’s happening across Memphis to support youth, families, and those navigating substance use and recovery? This is where we gather it.

The YOOT Community Calendar is a shared space for events, trainings, conversations, and opportunities that center youth well-being and address the root causes of substance use and overdose in our community. From harm reduction trainings to youth-led gatherings, from school-based events to community conversations—if it supports connection, awareness, or care, it belongs here.

This calendar reflects what YOOT is built on: collaboration, shared knowledge, and the belief that everyone has something to contribute. We know that no single organization can do this work alone—and that the most meaningful change happens when we can see and support one another’s efforts.

Have something to share?

We invite YOOT members and partner organizations to submit events for inclusion. Whether it’s something you’re hosting or something the community should know about, add it here so others can show up, learn, and participate.

Together, we make the work more visible—and more possible.

Out of the Darkness Memphis Mid-South Walk | Suicide Prevention

Why Walk?

Suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in the United States. To prevent suicide, we need to understand it first.

Funds raised at the Out of the Darkness Memphis Mid-South Walk directly support research, advocacy efforts, and educational programs in schools, workplaces, and communities across TN.

Register today and you're taking the first step to help save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. It's free, quick, and easy to make a real impact.

About the 2026 Memphis Mid-South Walk

Sign up today to make sure you receive important updates about the Walk from the local organizers.

The Walks are an opportunity to find a supportive community of people who get it, to know you're not alone, and to make a difference together.

Walks are between 1 to 3 miles and non-competitive. The route and additional information specific to the Memphis Mid-South Walk will be added closer to Walk day.

Our program includes an opening ceremony, activities of hope and healing, resource tables, and complimentary honor beads for every participant.
