What We Do
A collaborative response to a complex issue.
YOOT brings together youth, community members, and organizations to reduce overdose deaths by addressing substance use disorder through a mental health lens.
Our Approach
Education & Outreach
We support youth-centered education efforts that provide accurate, non-alarmist information about substances, overdose prevention, and mental health.
Youth Voice & Participation
Young people are not just recipients of services. They are collaborators, advisors, and leaders in shaping what prevention and support look like.
Community Collaboration
YOOT convenes diverse partners across health care, education, harm reduction, and advocacy to share knowledge and coordinate efforts.
Working Together
YOOT meets quarterly and welcomes new partners who share our values of respect, honesty, and care.
